...heirlooms, family names, and a mother's love

A year of milestones with Haydn.  I am thankful for this year of memorable photographs!  As I watched Haydn grow, along the way I met family and friends... and a very special Veteran. There were some extra special moments that were surely blessings from God.  Such a sweet reminder of the goodness of our LORD.

Those Who Came Before Me

Haydn's mom had a special desire to honor her family.  Haydn is named after her Great Grandfather, a US Marine Veteran who served his country faithfully.  Her Great Grandfather was ailing, and Averi made sure we got some special photos at Haydn's Six Month Milestone Session - photos that included Haydn's Great Grandfather - and her own little US Marine Corp dress.   Oh he was so proud to hold her, his namesake.  Haydn's Great Grandfather is with JESUS now - but she will have these photos to treasure forever!

Blue Eyes and Rosy Cheeks

Edit Haydn's eyes???  Nope! Not a smidge!  This child has the clearest blue eyes and the rosiest cheeks... she is a natural "baby doll".  And let's not forget those amazing lashes!!!  I have a gorgeous client wardrobe from Reverie Thread and this cornflower blue romper made Haydn's baby blues just pop!!

Hand Made With Love

Another sweet heirloom treasure -  this blanket made for Haydn.  I love photographing Little Ones with their sweet gifts from their adoring grandparents.

It's My Party - I Think I'll Eat Cake

Oh my - I know that Haydn's favorite food is macaroni and cheese, but let me tell you, Haydn loved her smash cake from The Dessert Studio in Camden!  From the rose on top, to the the icing in the MIDDLE - she demolished it!!!  Annnnnd she enjoyed a little bath at the end to splash, play, and clean up!

Teeth, Talking, & Treasures Things

Haydn is full on teething now - peep those pearly whites in her smile!  She can say DaDa and is such a sweet and loving little girl.  Haydn's mom also brought along her Great Great Great Grandmother's high chair - and I knew we HAD to photograph her sitting in it, celebrating her Milestone One Year Birthday! Happy Birthday Little One - may God's greatest blessings flow over You - may You come to know Him early on and may you bring Him glory in your life!

Children are a heritage from the Lord -Psalm 127:3

Joele Starr - I am truly amazed at how wonderful every experience with you was. You have truly been a blessing to our family and you have captured the best moments in Haydns first year. Thank you again for all that you have done so far. Can’t wait for our next adventure!
